Jeb Cardwell, a guitarist, singer, songwriter whose music takes you back to the glory days when guitar-driven riffs and rich vocals were king.

A two-time winner of the SAMIA (South Australian Music Industry) award for ‘Most Outstanding Guitarist’, Jeb is also an accomplished songwriter collaborating with his sister Abbie Cardwell (Triple J Unearthed Winner) to co-write ‘Anchored’ which won them the American BMI Songwriting Competition.

Jeb has toured extensively throughout his career opening for many artists, among them Tony Joe White, Steve Earle, The Motels & The Punch Brothers. In 2012 Aria award winners Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson asked Jeb to play banjo, square-neck dobro and guitar on their album ‘Wreck & Ruin’. He then went on to tour the album nationally with them.

Jeb has played in many bands including ‘Abbie Cardwell & Her Leading Men’, Chris Altmann’s ‘Que Paso’ and Van Walker to name a few. He currently works as a session guitarist, guitar teacher, guitar repairer, performs solo and spearheads bands ‘Backwood Creatures’ & ‘Animal Johnson’.
